About the Doctor

Dr. Monaco earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, NY, and completed her residency training in Psychiatry at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City. She also completed a Zirinsky Fellowship, specializing in the treatment of Bipolar Disorder, where her research focused on motivational interviewing and treatment adherence. As Chief of Outpatient Services, Dr. Monaco also served as Director of the Long-Term Therapy Program, where she oversaw the development and delivery of comprehensive psychotherapeutic services.

Dr. Monaco is a Columbia University graduate with advanced specialization in Applied Physiology. During her graduate studies, she focused on lipid metabolism and strategies for effective weight reduction - contributing to the growing field of metabolic health and preventative medicine. Recognized for her expertise, she was recruited to lead large-scale corporate wellness programs, serving some of the most influential financial firms on Wall Street and advancing health initiatives at the executive level.
